SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)
This position is responsible for providing specialized technical maintenance of equipment, repairs, modifications and installation of new and existing HVACR equipment and systems. This position primarily focuses on installation, inspection and service/repairs to refrigeration equipment and inspection and preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience
Education - High Schoool diploma, GED or equivalent. Experience - Two years experience in residential/commercial HVAC/R systems. License - EPA Universal Refrigerant Technician Certification. Knowledge, Skills & Abiliites- Familiar with safety procedures and training in safe operation of HVAC/R equipment. Ability to inspect and perform preventative maintenance on commerical and domestic HVAC systems. Ability to troubleshoot, service and repair commercial and domestic refrigeration equipment. Ability to provide legible, detailed and accurate information on work orders/preventative maintenance forms
