  • SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)

  • The postgraduate year-one (PGY-1) resident will participate in an organized, directed, postgraduate training program for one year in hospital pharmacy practice. During this one year training experience, he/she will design, implement, monitor, and modify patient-specific pharmacotherapy and hospital patient care initiatives. The pharmacy resident will also assist the Clinical Coordinator and Director of Pharmacy in other hospital/system medication management initiatives through education of health professionals and students, leadership activities, and at least one research project.

  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience

  • Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. Active license to practice pharmacy from the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy (in good standing).
